Let's put it straight out from the start, I hate bad female pop. The ones where they have a slow beat going in the back and the lead has moans and sighs combined with slow singing. "Uhhhhhh..."
Most of the songs were like that, and so I deleted the bad ones and 5 were left, which was good, because then I can put my "5 Faves" in this review.
Miss Independent and Just Missed The Train were the best ones out of this album, so of course I put them at the top. You Thought Wrong was just 'okay', I really didn't like it that much. All the ones except for these five are bad IMO, but if you like them than that's fine.
The best 5 of this album:
Miss Independent
Just Missed the Train
Low
Beautiful Disaster
You Thought Wrong
A few good ones...

Listen to this...
Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 7 July 2007 12:14 (A review of Minutes to Midnight)Not the same stuff as their other two main albums, (both of which I loved BTW) but great stuff none the less. They definitely have more soft songs similar to "My December", and less hard SCREAMING!
I still can't believe that LP finally broke down and put profanity in their songs, it totally ruins good music to hear someone dropping the f-bomb every chorus. However, I personally edited "Bleed It Out" and "Given Up", removing all trace of the offensive words and they are my faves.
(I simply deleted the "Hand Held High" I can't stand that trash against our country's leader)
This album would have been perfect without "Hand Held High" and "In Between", in which Mike's singing I can't stand. He's a good rapper and should stick to what he's good at.
THESE 5 TRACKS I LOVE!:
Given Up (edited)
Bleed It Out (edited)
What I've Done
In Pieces
No More Sorrow
P.S. The last guy said there were only 3 good songs, if so, why did he rate it a 7/10?!
P.P.S. There's bonus track on iTunes called "No More Roads" it's alright.

Why Can't We Be Friends
I'm A Believer
All Star
Walkin' On The Sun
Come On, Come On

Great CD
Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 29 June 2007 07:20 (A review of Hall of the Olden Dreams)This band is like the brother band to Nightwish, with great lead vocals, metal sounds and fantasy-like lyrics. It's the first album by them, and promises of other good stuff to come.
5 Slick Tracks:
Somewhere In Dreams
The Sound Of The Blade
Maid Of Orleans
Beyond The Fire
Hand In Hand

A Classic Favorite for me
Posted : 17 years, 8 months ago on 1 March 2007 03:29 (A review of Futureperfect)This CD was probably my introduction into Electronic Music. The stuff I had heard before wasn't anything like this, and when I first listened to Futureperfect, I was blown away.
After listening to this CD over and over, I got more Electronic CDs and really loved them also. (especially Icon of Coil)
The beats, tunes, and words are pure coolness...
It's hard to pick any faves out of this one, but here, dig into these 5 fabulous tracks:
Genesis
Epicentre
Beloved
Fearless
Holding On

Xcellent!
Posted : 17 years, 9 months ago on 1 March 2007 02:08 (A review of Flyleaf)This is the best Texas band out there that I have ever heard.
The lead singer is female and has a great voice; plus she ACTUALLY SCREAMS in some songs! Which is amazing because I have never heard any other female singer even come close in voice power what this little lady can put out. (she's really short).
The CD is chock full of coolness and great music.
Check out these 5 blastingly sweet songs:
Fully Alive
I'm So Sick
Breathe Today
Cassie
I'm Sorry

Good one
Posted : 17 years, 9 months ago on 28 February 2007 07:18 (A review of Let Go)There are some really good songs on this CD, I like how Avril can go from hard songs with loud choruses to soft songs with good melodies. Some of the songs weren't that good though, making it just a tad lower than her second album.
5 Tracks that are Good:
Sk8er Boi
Nobody's Fool
Complicated
Tomorrow
Unwanted

Posted : 17 years, 9 months ago on 8 February 2007 04:20 (A review of Under My Skin)She's not that hard rockin', but some of the songs are good listening all the same.
Her second effort is as good as the first.
5 Tracks that are GRRRreat!:
Take Me Away
Nobody's Home
Forgotten
Together
Who Knows

Full stars baby!
Posted : 17 years, 9 months ago on 31 January 2007 11:31 (A review of Scars Remain)Man, all the awesome cds the new century has come out with, especially in just the last year (2006).
This cd is full to the brim with good songs and some great 10 star songs among them.
The CD starts off with a great "Regime Change" which gives you a taste of the sweetness to come. "Game On" sets heads rockin' with it's great verses chorus and bridge, "After the World" is an awesome slow song with a great melody. I'm loving it.
5 Spot-on awesome Tracks from this cd:
Game On
After the World
Regime Change
Love Hate
Someone
(The only song that may detract from the overall "coolness" of the album is "No End at All", but maybe I just need to listen to it a couple more times to get to like it ;D)
