This cd is simply all-together super-sw33t....

All the songs have great lyrics & tunes, and their soft ones are just as good as their hard-rockin' ones...

Buy it today! :D

One of the best Soundtracks ever made

Posted : 17 years, 2 months ago on 31 January 2007 09:57 (A review of Gladiator: More Music From The Motion Picture)

If the first Gladiator cd was awesome, this one is superbly awesome! The music is just so emotionally moving, I love "The Gladiator Waltz" pumping theme and the "Now We Are Free" Remixes are rich in music.

I can't get enough of this EXCELLENTLY COOL soundtrack, it was hard enough picking my 5 faves.

5 Spot-on awesome Tracks from this cd:
The Gladiator Waltz
Now We Are Free (Maximus Mix)
The General Who Became A Slave
The Slave Who Became A Gladiator
Maximus

One of the best Soundtracks ever made

Posted : 17 years, 2 months ago on 31 January 2007 09:50 (A review of Gladiator Soundtrack [CASSETTE])

The film "Gladiatior" has become immortalized with Ridley Scott's awesome film work and Hans Zimmer's musically powerful score.

This album and its accompanying cd "Gladiator: More Music" are some of the best, most moving music after Howard Shore's "Lord of the Rings" musical genius.

5 Spot-on awesome Tracks from this cd:
The Battle
The Might Of Rome
Elysium
Strength and Honor
Now we are free

They think kids will play this game?

Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 14 November 2006 01:43 (A review of Bionicle: The Game)

This game is difficult.

I consider myself a pretty good gamer and this was extremely trying on my nerves. What with hard jumps to make using poorly coordinated controls that couldn't be changed, and specific parts in the game that are near impossible, I was ready to tear the cd in half. Besides all that, there isn't even a save button, you only get the game saved when you arrive at checkpoints, which are few and far between.

The ending battle took me almost 2 hours in itself to complete, not because it was long-lasting, but because I was forced to perform ridiculous jumps and moves so as to not fall while still avoiding the Big Boss's attacks.

I don't know how many kids have broken down and cried or thrown themselves off buildings when they failed to beat this rated "E" game.
2/10

As good as their other stuff

Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 14 November 2006 01:34 (A review of The Soul Is in the Software)

Great sounds. I'm surprised this album wasn't\isn't more popular. With great beats and lyrics in almost every song, this is an excellent album.

Nothing more to say except listen to it! :D

Sorcerer's Stone

Posted : 17 years, 5 months ago on 17 October 2006 02:13 (A review of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001))

I was surprised, to say the least.
After reading the books, the movie was better than I expected it to be. Usually directors take free carte blanche with Book-to-Film movies and add or take at their leisure.

Chris Columbus was able to pull off a superbe film with all the wonderful quips and quotes of the books in only 152 minutes.

I loved how there was even room for the small things. Like: Hagrid's "I shouldn't have told you that." and Harry Potter & friends interaction.

True there were some things missing: Peeves the Poltergeist (to tell the truth I didn't notice he was not there until after watching the second HP movie) and Norbert the dragon's adventure.

Someone knew what they were doing when they choose the cast though. Harry, Ron, and the others were good picks.

I just wish they had gotten someone a little more like the Dumbledore from the books to play himself.

The graphics were okay for 2001 and the quiditch match was exciting. (which is more than I can say for the second film's one)

Thanks for reading this, and I hope to get in a review for the second film next!

Horrible, Terrible, Boring, & NOT FUNNY

Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 15 September 2006 02:41 (A review of The Pink Panther)

This movie is Horrible, terrible, boring, and NOT FUNNY.

"Horrible" as in the horror I felt after wasting those two hours watching this piece of drivel.

"Terrible" as in the feeling I got of wanting to tear the DVD in half. (Fortunately for the DVD it had come from the library or I would have cruel and unusual punishment upon it)

"Boring" as in the operation I would have had done with a drill to my head to get the memory of that dumb movie out. [Sadly, the only one who could do the job was my drill Sargent, and he died two weeks ago (Probably of watching this movie)]

"NOT FUNNY" means just what it says: NOT FUNNY

I absolutely hated the ending.

Thanks to everyone who made this dumb movie possible, you forced me to add to my "Worst Movies Seen" List,
WyrmSlayer
